Basketball is over!

I am so thankful basketball is officially over!

Kaeden had his last game on Friday and they had a little party at the park afterwards. Here is a picture of him and his two best buddies. (It was super windy outside. So ignore K's hair!)

Baseball season starts tomorrow! I am so excited. I think baseball is something Kaeden could be really good at if he just focuses!

Brennan got a new tooth in other the weekend. So he has 2 bottom teeth now. I can't get him to hold still for a picture of them to save his life. He also rode in the cool "rocket" cart at the grocery store this weekend. Both my boys were so happy in it, until Brennan tried to take Kaeden's DSi. Welcome to having a little brother!

I took a few snapshots of Brennan trying to get some "Easter" style pics. Brennan is wearing the same outfit Kaeden did for his first Easter pictures. I hope to take some more soon, but there were pretty good considering it was an impromptu photo shoot.

So here is something fun (and slightly crazy)! I am starting up my own cupcake business from home! I'm not exactly sure where it came from I just know I had been baking cupcakes like crazy and I got really, really good at it. Some friends said I should sell them and the next thing I know; I'm having Chad make me a logo and I'm ordering cupcake containers!

So the name of my cupcake business is called "Just Us Cupcakes" I love this name because all I want to sell is cupcakes and since I'm a Justice major it's a perfect fit. I really hope I don't fall on my you know what with this thing! I just need to market them the right way and I know they will take off. Here is my awesome logo Chad made for me!

Bath time!

The top is Kaeden at around 6-7 months old and the bottom is Brennan just last night. I love how they are enough alike to be brothers but not exactly the same!

March Madness at the Thomas house!

Kaeden is doing really well, as basketball season is coming to a close. Last week he had so many basketball games, I considered just setting up a tent and the pack n play at the gym. It was one right after another, after another, AFTER another. Kaeden is getting better but he is still not so great (it's true white kids can't jump). Again, I can't wait until baseball starts on April 4. His reading is improving by the day. It's kinda nice but at the same time you don't realize how much you lie to your children about what something says until they sound it out and call your bluff. Chad got approved to have laser eye surgery and we are just waiting on a surgery date for him. He will have to go up north to have it done and the kids and I will probably just stay back and hold down the fort, unless he decides he needs our assistance. Brennan had his 6 month appointment today. He weighs 18lbs, 10oz and is 26 1/2 inches long. He is in 12 month clothes (mainly because of his length). He is such a happy guy, we are truly so blessed!

Here him and Kaeden are playing together!

Brennan's half birthday

Today Brennan is 6 months old. He just cut his first tooth within the past week, he's been eating solids like a champ and he can sit up on his own! We go to the doctor tomorrow for his 6 month check up and I will post an update then (on his appointment and what we've been up to)

For now I just wanted to post his 6 month pictures

Happy March!

I can't believe it's March already! This year is really trucking along.

Lately, things have been really stressful and hectic around here. I can't go into too much detail but it just has to do with Chad traveling and possibly going here and there and then back to here. I understand he has to travel for his job, but when they do stuff on a whim; it's very hard to swallow.

Basketball season is coming to a close (thank goodness, I'm so ready for baseball) We only have 4 more games left. Kaeden is all signed up for baseball and ready to go. It starts in April and goes until Mid-June.

Brennan has been doing really well. He has started eating solids a little bit better now and has tried applesauce, carrots, squash, pears, oatmeal, and sweet potatoes. I seems to like everything except the carrots, and to be fair I didn't heat them up. I am so thankful that we got a baby food maker, it's been really awesome to make his food for him and store it.

Well, that's about all the update for now. I will close with so much requested pictures of *both* boys. You have no idea how much bribing it took to get Kaeden to do this!!
